QGS recently completed the façade works for Headington Art College in Oxford, working in collaboration with Beard Construction on the delivery of a new creative space tailored for the next generation of artists and designers.
The package featured Schüco FWS 50 curtain walling with inset ADS 65 HD SG doors, along with FWS 50 doors incorporating integrated AWS 114 windows. This configuration was chosen to deliver a sleek, modern façade that balances aesthetic appeal with durability and long-term performance—key requirements in an educational setting.

Designed to maximise natural light and visual connection, the façade supports both the functional and architectural ambitions of the new building. The use of structural glazing and high-spec aluminium systems ensures a clean, minimal look that aligns with the creative focus of the college.
Working within a live education environment required careful coordination and planning. QGS worked closely with the site team to maintain quality, meet deadlines, and ensure smooth integration with the overall build programme.
The completed project reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering intelligent, high-performance façade solutions in the education sector.
