QGS is pleased to have completed the glazing package for the new Beech Court Pavilion at Abingdon School in Oxfordshire, delivered working alongside Beard Construction.
Located within the school’s historic campus, the Beech Court Pavilion provides a contemporary, light-filled space designed to support modern use while sitting comfortably within its surroundings. The pavilion has been carefully positioned to strengthen connections between internal spaces and the landscaped grounds, creating an open and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

QGS was responsible for the design, supply and installation of the building’s façade systems. The project features Schueco FWS50 curtain wall screens, selected for their slim profiles, high thermal performance and ability to maximise natural daylight. These were combined with integrated Schueco ADS.SI doors, providing secure and durable access points, alongside Schueco ASE80.HI sliding doors which offer flexibility of use and strong visual connections to the outside.
Close coordination with the wider project team was essential to ensure the glazing systems were delivered in line with programme requirements and the architectural intent. The chosen Schueco systems support the long-term performance of the pavilion, contributing to energy efficiency, occupant comfort and a high-quality finished appearance.
The completed Beech Court Pavilion represents a successful addition to the Abingdon School campus, delivering a modern facility that balances transparency, performance and design quality. QGS is proud to have contributed to a project that demonstrates the value of well-integrated façade solutions within an educational setting.
