QGS recently completed the façade works at Blows Yard, a distinctive mixed-use development tucked away just off Southwark Street in SE1. Delivered in partnership with Capita Construction Ltd, this project combines modern building performance with the character and charm of one of London’s hidden historic courtyards.

Our scope of works included the supply and installation of Schüco FW 50+HI curtain walling, along with ADS 75.SI HD doors and ADS 80 FR 60 fire rated glazing. These systems were carefully selected to meet the technical demands of the development, delivering high levels of thermal performance, security, and fire protection—while also supporting the architectural ambition of the scheme.

Blows Yard’s location, steeped in heritage yet surrounded by contemporary redevelopment, required a façade solution that could bridge both past and present. QGS worked closely with the contractor team to ensure that the systems were installed with precision, keeping quality and programme firmly on track.

This project adds to our growing portfolio of work across central London and reflects our continued commitment to delivering smart, performance-led façade solutions in complex urban environments.
