At QGS, we take great pride in reflecting on our contributions to some of the region’s most high-profile developments. One such project is Colmore Square in the heart of Birmingham, where we partnered with Galliford Try to deliver high-spec façade solutions for this key commercial space.

As part of the scheme, QGS was responsible for the supply and installation of a full façade package, including curtain wall screens, windows, and doors, designed to enhance both the aesthetic and performance of the building.

For the curtain walling, we installed the trusted Schueco FWS50 system — known for its slim sightlines, excellent thermal performance, and robust durability.

In addition, we fitted Schueco ADS65 HD doors, a heavy-duty system ideally suited for high-traffic commercial environments, as well as windows glazed with 10mm COOLLITE SKN176ii Toughened glass, providing excellent solar control and light transmission while maintaining a sleek, modern appearance.

Across the project, our team delivered over 500m² of façade systems, ensuring the highest quality installation that met both the architectural vision and the operational demands of the client.

We are proud to have contributed to the transformation of Colmore Square, supporting Birmingham’s ongoing growth as a thriving commercial hub. Working alongside Galliford Try was once again a seamless and rewarding experience, and we look forward to future collaborations.
